Triad
Today’s puzzle
How to play
Find four groups of three using all twelve cards. You can make four distinct wrong guesses before the day ends.
Check three features
Look at shape, fill and count separately. For each feature, the three cards must be all alike or all different. Two alike and one different fails.
Shape: circle, triangle, square ✓
Fill: all solid ✓
Count: 1, 2, 3 ✓
This triple passes all three checks. Two circles and a square would fail shape, even if fill and count passed.Tap three, then Guess three
Tap a selected card again to remove it, or use Clear selection. Guess three submits your choice. Accepted groups move to the top.
Finish all four groups
Keep finding matching threes until all twelve cards are grouped. A wrong guess has two alike and one different in at least one feature; the feedback names the feature to check.
A little more
The fourth distinct wrong guess ends the round and shows one complete answer. Partial or repeated guesses spend nothing. Wrong cards stay selected so you can inspect the feedback and change your choice. Submitted guesses cannot be undone or restarted; clearing a selection only changes cards you have not submitted.
You can also submit three selected cards by dragging into the tray or swiping upward. Release outside the tray without an upward swipe to keep them selected without guessing.
Keyboard: Tab to cards, then Enter or Space to select. Activate Guess three or press Ctrl/⌘ + Enter. Escape cancels a drag or clears the selection.
Your selection and guesses resume after refresh. Your shared result shows groups found and wrong guesses. A new puzzle arrives at midnight UTC; an open puzzle waits for you to choose today’s.
