How to play

Uncross every cord. Move the six lettered junctions between sockets until all cords are clear. There is no timer or move limit.

  1. Move a letter to an empty socket

    Tap a letter, then an empty numbered socket. Or drag the letter and release there. Its attached cords follow it. 0 is the middle socket; you can use it too.

    Part of a fictional board: select A, then 0. Moving A to the middle clears the crossing between A–B and C–D.

  2. Give the cords space

    Dashed cords need fixing: they cross, overlap, or pass through another letter. A × beside a letter marks a cord passing through it. Cords may meet at their own shared letter.

  3. Clear the whole tangle

    Any arrangement with every cord clear wins automatically after your move. Keep experimenting; Undo reverses a move and Restart returns to today’s tangle.

A little more

Sockets 1–8 run clockwise from the top. The ring for middle socket 0 stays visible when a letter covers it.

Keyboard: Tab to a letter and press Enter or Space, then do the same on an empty socket. Arrow keys move focus toward empty sockets. Escape or Cancel selection cancels. Dropping outside the board or away from an empty socket returns the letter.

Cord connections lists every connected pair and whether its cord needs space. Hint marks one useful letter and empty socket without moving anything. You may ignore it; your next move clears the hint.
