      How to play

      Put six objects in numbered order so every clue is true. Position 1 is first; position 6 is last.

      1 · Book2 · Clock3 · Mug

      Book before Mug means Book has a smaller number. They do not need to touch.

      • Immediately before means the next position, with no gap.
      • Next to means neighbouring positions, in either order.
      • Between means a number between the other two. It can have gaps, and either object can come first.

      Drag an object to its new numbered position, then let go. The others slide along; they do not swap. Let go outside the shelf or press Escape to cancel. Undo reverses the last move.

      Clues show ✓ when they fit and × when they need work. When every clue fits, the shelf completes automatically. There is no timer or move score.

      You can also tap an object, then its destination. Tap it again or use Cancel to leave it in place. Keyboard: Tab and Enter do the same; Alt + ↑/↓ moves the focused object one position. Escape cancels.

      Your unfinished shelf stays on this device. Sign in to save future completed results across devices. A new puzzle arrives at midnight UTC; an open shelf stays in place until you choose today’s.
