The final statement
Which question has become impossible?
“Water ingress affected the exhibition” tells us there was water and an exhibition. It cannot tell us who heard the warning, who kept unloading, or how an open door became the path of the water.
“The issue was managed promptly” descends, in this authored sequence, from a request that was refused. Select that sentence above: the provenance gives you the question the statement no longer contains.
The last version also adds assurances — “managed promptly” and “Learning has been shared” — which the first account does not establish. The safety sentence moves from an absence of visitors to an absence of identified concerns.
The first revision corrected an uncertain time using a controller log. Editing is necessary. The loss here comes from treating the removal of a causal fact as if it were merely the removal of a word.
