The print file opens on its own. Print single-sided, landscape, at actual size / 100%.
FROM SCREEN TO HAND
One cut. Then a book.
Print on one side of ordinary paper. The back stays blank. Try the numbered sheet first: the arrows should all point up when the book is finished.
01 Make the creases
Fold the sheet into four columns and two rows, then open it out. The upside-down top row is intentional.
02 Cut the middle slit
Fold left edge to right edge. Cut from the folded edge along the horizontal crease to the next vertical crease. Open out: both outer panels must stay joined.
03 Open the centre
Fold top edge to bottom edge with the print outside. Push the short ends together. The slit opens into a diamond, then flattens into a four-armed cross.
04 Close around the cover
Gather the pages around page 1 and crease the spine. Read 1 through 8. No staples, glue, or second sheet.
